When does the Altima 4 cyl get heat?
I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 4 cyl. I can only get heat when driving down the road or revving the engine greater than 2,000 rpm or so. The engine coolant gauge is in the normal range. I have replaced both thermostats with the exact same results.
Is there no heat when the engine is at low rpm?

Same problem with my 2005 Altima V6, with only 44k miles on it!!! and this is the second winter in the last 4 years that I have to pay for a coolant flush to fix the problem. Is there a climate control on an Altima?
Even without automatic climate control, the vents are still electronically controlled by pushbutton, as are most car over $15k these days, as opposed to a mechanical linkage as some economy cars have. What should I do if my engine temp is good?
If engine temp. is good. i would rec. good flush of the heater core disconnect both heater hoses and flush core in both directions.
