What to look for in a used Piaggio MP3 500?
I’ll be traveling to look at the bike next week. It’s a reasonable price for a MP3 with 7500 miles. It has a givi trunk, aftermarket windshield and highway pegs. It’s missing the front mud flaps, is dirty from sitting out for sale, but shows no “visible” signs of wear.

This is not a serious issue as long you keep from riding your bike in the same condition. Every bike has oil seals. Your friend is rite.
Is the Piaggio MP3 250 a good car?
+1 on Modern Vespa. Zero issues with my MP3-250. The only caveat is that the 250’s do tend to go through rear tires pretty quickly, but there are some lower-cost options out there now that will help out. I could probably pick a nit with the seating position, but again, not a big issue for me–it’s fixable if I wanted to work on the seat a bit.
