Anyone out there have a better plug I should use. Use either NGK or autolights. I used Autolight Double Platinum myself. Just wondering why not use same plugs that it was built with? I know they don’t last long, but you would think you would at least have no problems with them since Jeep spec’d the Liberty with them.

Can you put a metal plate between spark plugs?

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN BETWEEN THE IRIDIUM CONTACT AND THE METAL PLATE AS IT WILL CRUSH THE IRIDIUM CONTACT. THESE ARE MUCH MORE DELICATE THAN PREVIOUS TYPES OF SPARK PLUGS.
