Does express oil change use synthetic oil?
You can also put in a better oil than what is specified, namely synthetic. All new cars specify a synthetic blend (Maxlife) or a full synthetic. You can get even better protection by using the full synthetic oil. We have a coupon on our website for a discount when upgrading.
How long does Express Lube take?
An oil change at an express oil change shop usually only takes around 20 to 30 minutes. Depending on the franchise, these “express shops” often offer you the option to remain inside the car during the process. From a cost perspective, “quick lube” shops are also the cheapest service option available.
Is high mileage oil worth?
If an engine isn’t burning or leaking oil, or if it uses, say, less than a quart over 6,000 miles or so, switching to high-mileage oil may not be worth the extra cost for you. High-mileage motor oil doesn’t hurt and it could prevent leaks from starting.

How long does full synthetic oil last?
Full synthetic oils will actually last well beyond 10,000 miles. The lifespan of synthetic oil depends, but it’s not crazy to see oils still working at 15,000 miles or longer.
