Is there a Yamaha help 600 Grizzly no spark?
Yamaha Help 600 Grizzly no spark ’99 we’ve replaced almost everything!! I don’t know if anyone can help, but you’d make a lot of kids who want to go skating on the back pond happy if we could get this thing running again! Had no spark. We changed the stator with one purchased from Ricky Stator.
Is there a service manual for a Yamaha Grizzly?
We have a Yamaha service manualand checked everything, resistance on factory specs and also the ones for stator and pickup provided by Ricky Stator. Everything checks out fine. We cleaned the grounds and untaped the wiring harness and checked the ground crimps on the harness.
Why are the wires on my Grizzly no spark melted?
Pulled out the stator the wires were melted together right before the grommet where the wires exit the case. Called Ricky Stator. They said it could be that the rectifier went bad and then there was nowhere for the current to go and it melted wires together. Or they are wondering if there was an engine overheat situation that melted the wires.
Is it impossible to pull start a Yamaha Grizzly?
Hey Guys, I had the my salesman show me a trick to start with the pull starter. He stepped up on the step and pulled the rope till it gets impossible, probably bout a foot then release it back in, then give it a pull and viola it should start up.

BB’s Grizz is correct about standing on the footboard when you pull start it. I tried both ways (standing on ground) and standing on the footboard works the best. Also I agree with you, it’s not something you wanna do all the time, but knowing it will work is comforting. It does take some practise to master but it does work.
