I had another look in the Haynes manual but still can’t find any information on the gap. The front sections are introduction followed by roadside repairs, however in the servicing specifications section it says “spark plugs – refer to Ford dealer or parts specialist”. The plugs are AYFS22CB.

Spark plug gap is one of the least things we have to be concerned about. On my ZX2SR, I pulled plugs at 75K miles. They were fine. The replacement spark plugs are iridium and come pre-gapped. DO NOT attempt to alter the gap on these plugs.
