Is the SRS light related to the recall?
If the SRS light is related to a recall – they will fix and reset the SRS light. I had the recall work done and the SRS light was already on. They scanned it and are telling me I need a 800 $$ computer. Have not tried to reset it yet as per the thread on this site but will.

You can’t rest the airbag SRS light with a simple OBD II scanner which gives you the check engine light codes. You will need a more advanced scan tool to reset the airbag light. For around $110-150, which is how much a diagnosis costs anyway, you can get your airbag reset tool.
