The torque converter stutters occasionally when downshifting, but otherwise the engine/drive train work seamlessly and after 8 years it still drives like new. I had my Mazda Tribute Lx V6 2002 for 14 years. I do my own maintenance on it. I change my motor oil every 5000 miles.
Why is my Mazda Tribute leaking transmission fluid?
The transmission fluid leaks bad since I had the cv axles changed. The seal started leaking and I asked for it to be fixed and the mechanic said I needed to take it to a transmission mechanic after he said he changed the seal and it would not seal right. This happened after he had changed the CV axles.
