How is wiper motor grounded?
This chassis ground is prevalent in so many windshield wiper motors. Many are grounded to the body/chassis through their mounting bolts. Small bolts run through rubber bushings that hold the wiper motor to the firewall. The bushings eventually dry and compress, resulting in a poor ground connection.
How do you test a 5 wire wiper motor?
To test the motor, connect terminal 1 to ground (this is what is shown in the photo at top) You will leave this terminal connected to ground for all tests. Now for testing normal speed, connect terminal 5 to the positive jumper cable. The motor should turn and the cable should move in and out of the motor.

If you check the motor out side and works is 1. the switch 2. the amp (green box) or the 2 boxes inside or 3. a broken wire need to check if there is visible wire damage check the harness. Why does my Nissan Wiper not turn on?
The connector on the body side is getting 12 volts when the switch is all the way down on high speed. When the switch is up in off position it is really off. So, I was thinking that the motor is died. So I tested the motor by cutting wires and using them to hard wire them from the battery.
