Your server IP address in Minecraft is your PC IP address. Your game will act as the server so for others to connect, they will need your IP address in order to point their game to yours.

How do I join someone’s Minecraft server?

Have players joining your server follow the steps below:

  1. In Minecraft, click Multiplayer.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Enter a server name.
  4. Enter the server address. This will be your external IP followed by the port number: 25565 This will look like the address in the image on the right.
  5. Click Done.
