Changing the thermostat on a 2002 Renault Clio 1.2 16v D4F engine. While changing the thermostat its a good idea to flush out the old coolant and replace it. Its not absolutley necessary to remove the radiator you could probably do the same job with it in place but i found it handier to remove it.
What to do about coolant level in Renault Clio?

What to do if your car coolant is leaking?
Leaks can be hard to find. On a dry day top the coolant up and go for a decent drive (at least 20 mins) to get the car up to temperature. Come home, park up and leave the engine running for another 5-10 mins. Now look under the car for puddles.
