Are there gas shut off valves on snowmobiles?
This isn’t a new concept…my 1998 Ski-Doo and brother’s 1999 Ski-Doo don’t have shut-off valves either. I trailer all the time, often with a full tank since we all know gas is cheaper at the roadside than at the trail. We’ve never had a problem with them.
Why does my Nytro not have a fuel shutoff valve?
I just noticed my Nytro does not have a fuel shutoff valve. The owners manuel says when you trailer it make sure the fuel level in the tank is lower than the carburetors to avoid flooding, and if possible, empty the tank. Dude! This sled wasnt cheap! Whats up with that? Are all the Vectors and Apex’s valveless?

Where is the check valve on a gas engine?
Check all fuel hose connections are tight and that the check valves freely blow one way, but do not the other (one above the fuel tank and one on the side of the hull from the fuel tank): Note: This is primarily directed towards carbuerated 2-stroke models, but the principles apply to all gas engines.

What to do if your Skidoo has a fuel leak?
Disconnect the fuel line from the carb and spin the engine over (use a container to catch the gas), then compare the flow with the supply to the other cylinder. If the two flows are similar then perhaps you have an issue with the floats in that carb. BTW: Your fuel is 10% alcohol from the pump, so adding more alcohol isn’t needed.
