Are Birkenstock shoes good for kids?
They are super comfortable once you break them in. At first the toe part will be stiff and not feel great, but once you wear them this will soften and they will be wonderful! Super durable and even on a child I get an entire season out of them. This is one of the best prices I have found for true Birkenstocks!

Do Birkenstocks hurt at first?
Initially, wear the shoes for about 30 to 45 minutes. If your feet begin to hurt, take off the shoes immediately. You may also want to wear the Birkenstocks with socks to avoid getting blisters on your feet. On the second day, you can increase this time to an hour or two.
Do Birks run big or small?
As for HOW Birkenstocks are supposed to fit, they run true to size. I realized that, since there should be anywhere from 1/8 – 1/4 th of an inch of extra space in front of your toes and behind your heel, my size is actually 40 (some styles 41).
Why do Birkenstocks not do size 6?
The main reason for this is size conversion between UK, EU & US which can be very misleading. We advise purchasing the shoes in the manufactured EU Continental size, that way you reduce the risk of ordering the incorrect size when relying on retailer size conversion, which is always just a guide and not a guarantee.
