What kind of gas does a Jeep Grand Cherokee use?

What kind of fuel does a Jeep Overland use?

The owners manual for my 2012 Overland V6 says to use 87 octane, so 87 octane is what I use. Drives like it should, I guess. I too notice different fuel brands effect the performance and feel in the vehicle. I am a Shell Vpower guy, however since I bought it i’ve been using only Chevron with Techron.

Can you use ethanol in a Jeep Grand Cherokee?

While ethanol is hygroscopic in nature and its properties enable it to absorb more water than pure gasoline, the standard 10% content is not great enough for this to be an issue, or cause corrosion. You would have to leave your car parked for months on end for there to be a chance of an issue.

What kind of fuel does a jeep Hemi use?

Do keep in mind that 89 octane is the “recommended” fuel choice for optimal performance, but over the 108K miles I put on my MY12 Hemi JGC, I only ever bought one tank of mid-grade (and that was by accident) and ran 87 octane pretty much exclusively. Many folks do that regularly and the JGC Hemi runs just fine on it for general purposes.

Running the standard E10 blend of gasoline found at most pumps across the country wont do anything to your Jeep and is perfectly fine to run every single time.

What kind of fuel do you use in a jeep Hemi?

If you have the V6 87 is all you need. Anything more is like throwing dollar bills out. The Hemi recommends 89 for Ultimate performance. I put 89 in the Hemi. I only use 87 octane. No performance complaints at all and I’m not really interested in turning my Jeep into a rocket ship.
