The solution is to remove the SW switch input and horn output wires from the GEM and then join them together so the switch then operates the horn directly – like the old cars! Having done this the car remains silent but the horn still works via the steering wheel – at last!

As title says it has gone off 4 or 5 times now have looked on the web and i found i could find out what the problem was by looking at the display and it comes up volumetric sensor what is this and how can i stop alarm going off. A few weeks ago I was awakened by a beeping noise outside and eventually realised it was my S Type, although no lights were flashing, neither was the horn sounding. The beeping comes from the drivers side front wing.
