Why does my Hyundai make a knocking noise when I reverse?
Often condensation can get into the parking brake, and when it gets cold, it can freeze, causing the brake shoes (I think even Tibs with rear discs have a small drum brake in the hub of the disc for the parking brake) to stick to the drum… when you move the car, the shoes break loose and you get a knock as the car rolls away.

A wheel shouldnt knock so get it looked at if you’re not confident enough to investigate it yourself. It’s rare but you don’t want the wheel falling off or the tyre blowing out on you! Generally I’d check to see if any nail or screw or even a stone is stuck in the tread. Rotate all the tyres carefully.

We isolated the noise to the outer tie rod ends but the vehicle had to be sitting for a few hours to make the popping/ clicking noise, there was also no visible play or cracking boots. Going with what alz99 said, take the vehicle to a reputable shop that wont drag it through the parts department.
