Can you use OptiShot without Internet?
Playing online with an active Internet connection is the primary way to use OptiShot. If you only have access to the Internet periodically you can play Offline. NOTE: You do not need to log in to play or practice.
Is OptiShot swing speed accurate?
OptiShot advertises its accuracy range as being within 2 mph of club head speed, 1.5 degrees of face angle and 1.9 degrees of swing path. For the majority of shots, I found that those tolerances were accurate.
Does OptiShot measure swing speed?
It’s pretty well documented that the Optishot doesn’t actually measure swing speed. It estimates it based on the club you select and the settings you put in. As a test, set your club on the optishot to a 9i and then hit a driver…. you’ll get a 9i swing speed instead of a driver swing speed.
Will my computer run OptiShot?
The minimum requirement is 256 MB. As with system RAM, you cannot have too much video memory. OptiShot will run with 256 MB of video memory, but you can take that up to more than 1 GB of memory. The more memory, the smoother the display.
Does OptiShot work with Chromebook?

How many putts can you make with Optishot?
Once the ball is within the set distance of the cup, OptiShot will assess a 1 stroke putt and complete the hole. When you are within the set distance, OptiShot will calculate the number of putts – these will range from 1 putt to 3 putts.
