Membership is for use by the named holder only, and is not transferable under any circumstances.
Does Colchester Zoo take cash?
? We are encouraging visitors to use contactless payment whenever possible and kindly ask that cash is only used as a last resort. Our cash machine and cash back will not be available. ? A limited number daily talks and feeds will be available once again! Find out more about our timetable here.
Can you take your own food to Colchester Zoo?
There are loads of eating places in the zoo and lots of picnic areas if you wish to bring your own food. The shops by the exit are great, with a massive variety of products. For children, there are also several good play parks within the grounds, including an inside play area.
Can you still use Tesco vouchers at Colchester Zoo?
Unfortunately Colchester Zoo is not currently able to accept Tesco Vouchers as a form of payment. All tickets must be purchased online in advance of your visit to assist us with managing the capacity within the park, sadly it is not currently viable for us to offer any other discounts which includes Tesco Vouchers.

How do I upgrade my zoo membership?
You can upgrade your membership by calling us at 718-220-5112 to include the NY Aquarium for an additional fee. Please note, upgrading your membership does not extend your expiration date. You can also renew early and add the NY Aquarium, which will start right away!
Does Colchester Zoo sell lion poo?
Colchester Zoo does not buy images taken of the animals. Do you sell Lion/Big Cat dung as a deterrent for foxes? We do, however, sell “Zoo Poo” which is a herbivore based manure from our Elephants and Rhinos, which is good for the garden.
Is Colchester Zoo hilly?
The majority of the zoo is quite flat and it’s easy enough to walk around, but those who have been before will know what there are a few very steep slopes dotted around the park.
Can you use Tesco Clubcard vouchers at London Zoo?
Can I use Tesco Clubcard Vouchers to pay for London Zoo Lodges? Tesco vouchers are only accepted for general admission tickets (excluding car entry) when purchased on the day of your visit at the main gate. They cannot be used as payment for London Zoo Lodges or any other ZSL experiences.
Can I spend Clubcard vouchers in store?
You can spend them in store, online or with Clubcard Reward Partners. To use in a store you can print Faster Vouchers at home or scan the voucher on your Clubcard app at the tills.

Give the gift of a Zoo Pass with a voucher! If you would like to purchase a Zoo Pass Gift voucher this will be valid for 3 months from the date of purchase – the recipient then has this time to call or visit us to redeem the voucher and collect their pass.
