Can you drive on hockey tiles?
Overall the tiles work well for what they are intended for. Goes together easily, creates a good slick surface for puck work and shooting. Two boxes cover quite a bit of space. These are super durable (can drive over them!) and they reduce the wear and tear of our hockey sticks compared to pavement.

What are hockey rink boards made of?
While it is called glass, manufacturing Plexiglas does not involve heated liquid sand, like your traditional glass. Instead, Plexiglas consists of acrylic plastic sheets. Plexiglas is mounted on the dasher boards around the arena and held together by supports.

Training on synthetic ice provides about 10% more friction between your skate blades and the surface than on conventional ice. When you execute jumps on synthetic ice, your muscles become stronger and more powerful than when you practice solely on natural ice.
