Does the FNS 40 have a safety?
The FNS has four standard safety features: A trigger safety, similar to that seen on a Glock, which prevents the weapon from discharging without pressure on the trigger. An out-of-battery safety which prevents the sear from releasing the striker if the slide is not fully forward.

The FNS™-40 Compact offers the same features as the standard models but has 3.6” barrels and is designed to be snag-free for better concealment and a faster draw.
