the 882 heads were installed on the 350ci and 400ci engines (400 heads had steam holes). The 882 heads had double heat-riser passage and were prone to cracking because they ran so hot. They were considered intermediate performance heads and had 76cc chambers.
How do I identify my SBC heads?
