Can I copyright multiple designs at once?
We often get requests from creators asking whether it’s possible to register a copyright in multiple works of visual art at one time, whether it’s a series of t-shirt designs or a collection of photographs. Yes it is possible, in certian specific cases, to use one application.
How many works can you copyright at once?
Generally, you may only register one work per application but there are several exceptions to this rule. Each exception has strict eligibility requirements. If you do not meet or comply with these requirements the Office may contact you, which will delay the registration decision, or the Office may refuse registration.
How do I copyright a group of photos?
To register a claim to copyright in two or more photographs, you must submit the following to the Copyright Office: (1) a completed application form; (2) a nonrefundable filing fee; (3) a digital copy of each photograph; and (4) a list providing the title and file name assigned to each photograph.
Why is my copyright fee $65?
The Copyright Office has confirmed that despite various upheavals and changes caused by COVID-19, starting Friday, March 20, 2020, there will be an increase in filing fees for most copyright services. The most basic online registration – the Standard Application – will jump from $55 to $65 per filing.
Can you claim copyright without registering?

Can I use the copyright symbol without registering?
Using the copyright symbol is optional, but it is your right as the creator of the work to identify the creative work as yours.
