How long does it take to walk through the Richmond zoo?
Adults just walking through could get around in a couple of hours, but that’s note the best way to enjoy this zoo. I love watching the animals. When I took my Grands 4 & 8 we probably stayed 3 or 4 hours and didn’t see everything, but I didn’t rush them.

Despite many employees walking/driving throughout the zoo, the rules are not strictly enforced. The zoo is not too busy during the weekday between the morning and noon time. If you want a sense of normalcy and not wanting to worry about a mask, this zoo is fantastic.
