the cast iron rings work great on used bores and easily seal small imperfections. the downside they wear faster and are considered for “mild street performance”. i use the Hastings cast iron rings in my s/c 450 rwhp with no problems after 6-7k miles. some people use the chromemoly for street performance and some drag.
