What is Kagain?
Kagain was a dwarven merchant and fighter that lived in the town of Beregost during the mid–14th century DR. He owned and operated a mercenary company that specialized in protecting caravans.

Overall Branwen is actually pretty good. On the other hand, Viconia is far better with a Sling. You can’t equip her as heavily but that ends up not being a huge issue with Ankheg Armor and the like. Main thing is you can’t equip her with a Shield above Small.

Also, in some cases, you you remove a certain NPC from your party several times they live for good. Khalid & Jaheira stay where you kick ’em out. As far as I know, they can be removed and picked up again as many times as you wish. The same goes for Edwin, Imoen, Minsc.

There is a problem with the Kagain quest, not sure that this is a bug, but I ask to help to understand. Talked to kagain, after a while came back and agreed to the quest. went with him to the caravan, walked the location but no dialogue with him arose. specifically spent 1-2 weeks, but kagain also silent.
