Does UNT accept GI Bill?
You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. This benefit provides up to 36 months of education benefits. Eligible students’ tuition is paid directly to UNT. The Post-9/11 GI Bill® also offers some service members the opportunity to transfer their GI Bill® to dependents.
How much does the GI Bill pay in Texas?
Benefits last for up to 36 months, payable for up to 15 years following release from active duty. If attending a private or foreign school, the tuition and fees are capped at the national rate, currently $18,077. The Post-9/11 GI Bill can be transferred to your spouse and/or children if certain requirements are met.
Is there a minimum GPA for the GI Bill?

How much does GI Bill pay per month?
If you are pursuing a degree entirely online, you will only receive half of the national BAH average. For the 2019-2020 school year, that amounts to $894.50 per month.
Do I have to apply for GI Bill every year?
For the school year beginning in Fall 2019, you will need to apply for the 2019-2020 version of the Calvet waiver, which will cover Fall 2019 through Summer 2020. You will need to reapply for an updated CalVet waiver every year.
How many credits do you need to get full BAH for GI Bill?

A student with a rate of pursuit greater than 50% can qualify for the housing allowance. For undergraduate enrollments, 12 semester or quarter hours are generally required for full-time training. The school submits the term dates and credit hours of the enrollment to VA and we calculate the rate of pursuit.
Does the GI Bill cover 4 years of college?
