How long should you use Aerosure?
Actegy Ltd have developed a CE-marked handheld device called Aerosure, which works by vibrating the air as patients breathe in and out through it. Aerosure has been shown to reduce feelings of breathlessness in healthy adults after 5 weeks of use.
Is Aerosure medic any good?
Fantastic product. I think it’s improved my lung capacity and even my nurse thinks my breathing has improved since using Aerosure. This is a good product. It’s easy-to-use, I feel it helps relieve relieve symptoms of COPD and above all it’s good value for money.
How do you use an Aerosure medic?
Place the product in your mouth. Breathe 15-20 times through the Valve Head (B) and then remove the device from your mouth and huff and/or cough to aid the clearance of mucus normally. It is important that you remove AEROSURE from your mouth before coughing to clear any mucus.
Does Aerosure improve breathing?
Aerosure, when used regularly, can help to reduce shortness of breath and breathlessness, increase respiratory muscle fitness and increasing the performance of the muscles involved in inhalation, whilst improving mucus clearance from lungs.
How do you clean Aerosure?
With the Valve Head attached to the handle (C) and the REVITIVE Aerosure switched on, rinse the Valve Head under warm running water to ensure that the Valve Head and its internal components are completely cleaned [see picture 13]. Take care not to put the handle under the running water.

How does Revitive Aerosure work?
Revitive Aerosure works by spinning a valve inside the device at high speed, to rapidly open and close the flow of air in-to and out-of the lungs. As you breathe through the Mouthpiece the oscillating valve creates a resistance, vibrating the chest wall to work the lung muscles harder and improve respiratory fitness.
How do I use Revitive Aerosure?
Using each mode
- Turn on by holding down the power button for 2 seconds. The Lung Relief symbol will now be lit and you will hear the motor run.
- Place the Mouthpiece in your mouth, sealing your lips around the shield to create a seal.
- Then, breathe through REVITIVE Aerosure as outlined in the User’s Manual.
