Do all EVGA PSU cables work together?
Most of EVGA’s fully-modular power supplies are compatible with the cable sets of each other, or will be noted otherwise. As noted above, power supplies may be compatible with sets designed for a higher or lower wattage.
Are EVGA GQ cables interchangeable?
No they are not compatible. The G2 is their flagship model made by Superflower, the GQ is their Value gold model made by FSP. The cables may be socketed or pinned differently. If Cablemod isn’t offering the G2 cables as GQ compatible they are likely different.

Are all PSU cables compatible?
Most PSUs aren’t intercompatible and you’re very right to be wary of it. However, some families of units (usually the higher end ones) are completely cross compatible with each other! Specifically for OP, the RMi series are fully compatible with each other!
Are all PSU power cables the same?
The device-side of all PC cables is standardized. ATX 24-pin, EPS12V, PCI-e to the GPU, SATA—the wiring is known, and it doesn’t change. What isn’t standardized, however, is the layout of the PSU-side modular cable headers. Like ESD, just because you’ve gotten away with mixing cables doesn’t mean you always will.
