Where can you drop off medication?
In your community, authorized collection sites may be retail, hospital, or clinic pharmacies; and/or law enforcement facilities. These collection sites may offer on-site medicine drop-off boxes; mail back programs; or other in-home disposal methods to assist you in safely disposing of your unused or expired medicines.
Can I drop off old medicine at CVS?
Once you find a participating CVS location, simply bring in your unneeded or expired medication and place it in the drug take back unit conveniently located in the Pharmacy Waiting Area. Units are available during regular pharmacy hours.
Does Deterra expire?
Deterra pouches and containers do not expire.

In case of medicines, items must be returned in full, in their original condition, with box, strip and packaging intact. If you wish to return a device that stores any personal information, please ensure that you have removed all such information from the device prior to returning.
Where to dispose of medications in meddrop drop boxes?
To dispose of medications in the MedDrop drop boxes, please bring your unused or expired medication and a Ziploc or other resealable bag to the MedDrop police department. It is important to keep medications in original bottles until you are at the MedDrop Station.
