How did the Lightning Link work?
The Lightning Link works by pulling the disconnector to the rear and releasing the hammer. When the bolt carrier strikes the top of the link, the bottom portion swivels to the rear, moving the body of the link rearward and releases the hammer from the disconnector hook.

Where is the fulcrum point on a bolt carrier?
The assembled link lays flat in the lower receiver, with the opening at the front fitting over the hook of the disconnector, and the upright resting between the upper receiver take-down pin post, and the bolt carrier. In operation the take-down pin post acts ss a fulcrum point.
