What does 13WL mean?
13WE = 199mm caliper. 13WL = 231mm caliper. The 13WE are easier to install (no trimming) and they will clear the stock 16″ rims and 16″ spare rim.
Is it safe to grind down brake calipers?
grind it just enough to where the wheel barely clears without rubbing. be very careful to not grind off too much. if you go too deep, you run the risk of damaging your caliper.
Are Powerstop calipers worth it?
The calipers fit perfectly and upgrade you to the better Akebono calipers. I found the other Powerstop caliper had seized as well, once again one piston could not be retracted. Once again I went to the local auto parts store for a replacement. I have never had calipers that don’t even last the life of the brake pads.
Are Napa brake calipers any good?
They ARE a good brand. Found the Warranty PDF for the Napa Calipers, and they are Cardone calipers with a limited Lifetime warranty. flstffxe said: IIRC all or the vast majority of their brake line parts are Raybestos with a small variety of other mixed in.
Are Powerstop performance brakes good?
When it comes to performance the brakes feel just as nice as the stock brakes did and I have had no issues with regular driving or towing. Update: I have had these brakes for about 8 months now and I will say that they are just as good if not better than the OEM brakes.
