What does a turn signal module do?
The Self Canceling Turn Signal Module™ is an electronic flashing relay that is meant to completely replace your existing mechanical flashing relay(s), or be a stand alone flashing relay to vehicles that do not have turn signals. It works with both LEDs or incandescent lights up to 10 amps per output(20 Amps Max).
How does a turn signal cancel work?
The turn signals are cancelled when the steering is turned to center. As you turn the steering wheel back to the center position, a cancel cam on the steering column comes into contact with the turn signal lever inside the column housing.

The Smart Turn System (STS) automatically shuts off the turn signal lights when a turn is completed. And, when the bike is “straight and level” after the turn is completed, the system automatically disables the flashing indicator. This works at virtually any turn angle, including lane changes.
