How do I become EEG certified?
Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T.)
- Graduate from an NDT CAAHEP-accredited program, complete 50 EEGs, and have current CPR or BLS certification.
- Complete an ABRET-recognized certificate program, complete 100 EEGs, and have current CPR or BLS certification.
How long is EEG program?

The program length is one year and includes instruction in EEG, EP, PSG and NCV technologies. Courses are offered over 4 quarters beginning in the fall of each year. The program is a combination of web-based instruction and clinical experience. Students must be highly motivated and willing to work at a fast pace.
