How do you become a National Hispanic Scholar?
Eligibility Requirements for National Hispanic Recognition Program
- Take the PSAT/NMSQT in October of their junior year.
- Achieve a minimum qualifying PSAT/NMSQT score (qualifying levels vary by region)
- Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the middle of their junior year.
- Identify as Hispanic or Latinx.
How much is the Hispanic Heritage Foundation scholarship?
This program will allow high school seniors and college students to obtain educational grants and scholarships in the amount of $2,500 to pursue a higher education diploma or complete their college degree.
Are there scholarships for Latino high school students?
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is available to Latino students of various ages — from high school seniors all the way up to graduate students. All majors of study are accepted, but there is an emphasis on STEM majors. There’s also a GPA requirement of 2.5 for college students and 3.0 for high school students.
