FasTrak CAV is a special toll tag—issued only to eligible clean air vehicles (CAVs)—that qualifies the vehicle for free or reduced tolls. The FasTrak CAV toll tag works at all toll bridges and in all Bay Area express lanes. It can also be used to pay for parking at San Francisco International Airport.

It depends. You need a FasTrak Flex toll tag if you are a carpool, vanpool, motorcycle or other toll-exempt vehicle that will use the I-880, I-580, I-680 Contra Costa or SR-237 express lanes. Otherwise, your Standard toll tag will work on all express lanes as well as all other FasTrak facilities.

Can I use Bay Area FasTrak in Los Angeles?
You can use FasTrak anywhere in California where the FasTrak logo is displayed. In Southern California, you can use FasTrak on toll roads and express lanes.
