Can you camp overnight at Lake Perris?
Lake Perris has both family sized and larger group sized overnight campgrounds, horse camp facilities, and large group picnic areas. Most areas have shade trees, however it can get very hot in the summer and extra shade canopies are highly recommended.
Do you need a reservation to camp at Lake Perris?
Reservations: Due to the busy summer season, reservations are highly recommended for summer weekends and summer holidays. The campsites at Lake Perris are Site Specific. This means that when you make a reservation, you are reserving a specific site number.
Does Lake Perris have RV camping?
The RV hook-up sites at Lake Perris have water, grey water, and electrical hook-ups. Tents: Tents are allowed in all of our RV hook-up sites! People: Each site can accommodate up to 8 people, of any age.
What does tent only mean?
RVs are not allowed in tent-only campsites. These sites only have space for tents and, in many cases, the parking is a short distance away from the campsite (and you’re required to camp in the campsite).
Are there leeches in Lake Perris?
Me and my kids got out of the water and were covered in leeches. There should be a warning some people are allergic. Will never come back again.
What is hookup camping?
At most campgrounds, “Full Hookups” means you’ll have sewer, water, and electric hookups. Electric hookups allow you to plug your RV into a power pedestal and power your electric RV appliances and components without using a generator, battery power, or solar power.
Can you put up a tent in a public park?
most public parks have operating hours, being there outside of their hours constitutes trespass. Even if you do it during the daytime when the park is open. the tent itself may constitute a violation of any rules prohibiting a temporary structure without a permit, or may be prohibited period.
Can you put a pop up camper in a tent spot?
Most pop-up campers can fit into any tent site. And many campgrounds treat them like a tent so you can use a tent site if a back-in isn’t available. Since they can be pulled by almost any vehicle, it’s easier to take these off-road.
