Where is the air conditioner on a LX470?
This photo is from just behind the passenger wheel well where the frame bolts to the body. Here’s the line in a diagram with the problem area highlighted: The bend the line takes to the right of the highlighted area goes between the body and the frame – a tight squeeze.
Why is my air conditioner not working in my car?
The bracket and insulation designed to protect the tubing from road debris holds moisture against the aluminum, the lines eventually corroding through and leaking out all the freon. Then the A/C stops working. The leak in question:
Why does my car AC blow cold air then blow warm air?
But that cold air turns warm fairly soon after because the high side pressures build to the point that the high pressure switch shuts off the compressor clutch. Once pressures equalize, the high pressure switch allows the compressor to start up again. The cycle repeats over and over, providing a short period of cold air, followed by warm air.
What to do when your car AC is running?
Check the radiator fans to make sure at least one fan turns one when the AC is switched on. However, some cars operate both fans at low speed while driving and switch into high speed mode when the AC is running. So get tricked into thinking your fans are ok simply because they’re running.
What to do if your AC blows hot air only?

What to do if your a / C dryer blows warm air?
The repair is to replace the line and clean the brackets in the area, both o-rings on the line, replace the A/C dryer and recharge the system with new oil and freon. To help prevent the condition from reoccuring, CARspec anti-seizes the entire area that is the root cause of the failure: And then wraps the entire area in electrical tape:

Why do I not get heat from my car heater?
That’s why you won’t get heat until the car has been running for a couple of minutes. As the engine gets hotter, so does the coolant. Because we rely on the coolant system to provide us with heat through our heaters, there are now a few components that can fail and mean that you’ll never get heat out of your car heaters.
How can I tell if my car heater is leaking?
Open the bonnet (hood) and look for steam: along the hoses, where the water pump is, and along the radiator. Also look inside your car—if your windows steam up, or the carpet inside the front of your car gets wet, your leak could be inside the car, behind the dashboard. It could be the heater matrix itself (the heater core) or a split hose.
Why does my car heater keep leaking water?
If it leaks water, you need to find the source. It can be a split hose, leaky radiator, the water pump, or even worse, the head gasket. Finding the leak can be a pain in the butt too, as even a tiny hole can let a lot of water out while the system is under pressure from being driven.
Why is my Toyota Land Cruiser leaking air?
The 1997-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 both suffer from a common air conditioning failure – a leak from the rear A/C liquid line just behind the passenger’s front tire.
Why does my air conditioner keep leaking oil?
The bracket and insulation designed to protect the tubing from road debris holds moisture against the aluminum, the lines eventually corroding through and leaking out all the freon. Then the A/C stops working. The leak in question: The wetness in the above photo is the compressor oil leaking out from the corroded line.

Why is the driver side airconditioner hotter than the passenger side?
If the engine is cold and the interior of the vehicle is very hot, like after your car being in the sun for some time, does the passenger side air is a lot hotter than the drivers side? This may point to a loose hose connection. Does the air blow the same intensity in both sides? If not it can be a partially opened flap. Just some ideas…
Is the driver side of a 2013 GL450 blowing cold air?
Where is the actuator for 2013 GL450. The driver side is not blowing cold air. It is temperament.
Why does the a / C blow cold but warm drivers?
The problem I have is that when you turn the ac on the cool air only comes out the 2 vents on the passenger side. The 2 vents on the drivers side have warm air blowing out. A/C is controls are set to max air and max cold on the temp control. Answer: Most common problem is a bad temperature door actuator if it does have dual zone A/C.
Why does AC blow cold on passenger side but warm on drivers side?
Ac is cool on passenger side but driver side is sorta warm like. This is happening in my 2013 Lincoln MKX but is blowing hot on the passenger side and cold on the drivers side. 2007 Honda Accord AC issues same problem. Cheap resolution for the problem and where is the part located Yes, you need to replace the actuator.

How does the a / C work on the passenger side?
You have two air mix control dampers; one for the driver’s side and one for the passenger side that are independently controlled and operated by electric servo motors. It sounds like your a/c is operating fine since you get cold air on the passenger side.
