- Disconnect the SWC Interface from the plug.
- Place your positive (red) probe on the first Analog Channel.
- Ground the negative probe to the wire you were instructed to ground in the wiring guide.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button on the steering wheel and look for a response on the meter.

The horn works and there are no warning lights for the airbag. I have found on ebay a chap who lives 5 miles from me that will run a diagnostics report with vcds for a tenner which I think is very reasonabl, but I don’t know if this will help prove anything other than “no power to steering wheel controls”, of which I already know.
Where does the radio control go on a steering wheel?
The wires that control the radio from the steering go to the Body Control Module (BCM), not directly to the radio. The BCM sends data over the serial bus to the radio. You can’t post conmments that contain an email address. If this is the lights for the switches in the steering wheel, these are LED’s.
