Why is the rear hatch on my Touareg not opening?
I have a 2013 TDI LUX TOUAREG. Ran into this problem when i hooked up my ~4600lb boat and the rear of the tregg kinda squated and my automatic rear door won’t open. When i took my boat off the hitch the rear hatch started working again. Not sure if they have some sort of leveling feature but my tregg did not come with air ride suspension.

Is the VM Touareg out of warranty?
Indicated system problem. The armature in the starter went bad, so the starter was replaced. The car was out of warranty, a 2013 with 42K miles, at the time of the defect. I initially was told I was beyond the warranty for the repair. I contacted VM Customer Service to state a bad starter after such a short period of time was crazy.
