You are correct – it was the white outer lens that automatically led me to think it was a reversing light, having said that the rear indicators are also behind the white outer lens.
Can a off-side reversing light be used?
The off-side reversing lamp is fine. I did purchase some electronic manuals on-line but I am still not able to get a simple schematic of what components lie between the fuse and the bulb that would be the next obvious things to check.
Why is my rear reversing light not working?
I have a rear reversing light (Drivers Side) not working. I have done the obvious which is to check the fuse and the lamp itself and these are both fine. The off-side reversing lamp is fine.
