What does the 3582 code mean on a Cummins?
That said a 3582 is a “Shits fucked, no idea why” code, so it’s indicating an all around failure of the SCR system. I definitely would check the DEF concentration, exhaust leaks, DEF doser delivery, external DEF leaks, Decomp build up ect. before continuing.

Can a SCR sensor delete a NH3 sensor?
You have an updated cat, updated wiring harness for the SCR sensors that deletes the connector for the NH3 and an updated calibration so the ECM does not search for the NH3 sensor (will need a fleet cal and would have to be done at a dealer unless you got Insight pro and a quickserve log on).
Where is the NH3 sensor on Cummins ISB 3582?
Nox levels look good however the NH3 midbed sensor was hanging at around 900ppm for about 5 minutes after initialization. I’m spit balling here but after talking to a few other techs and googling around there appears to be an update on the SCR cat (and wiring harness) which removes the sensor.
