What is interaxle differential?
The interaxle differential allows for the difference in rotational difference between the front axle compared to the rear axle that is found on a twin axle set up. Same idea as a differential between wheels on the same axle.
What happens if you drive with your differential locked?
Running with the differentials lock in will affect tire wear. When the truck turns, the outside wheel needs to move faster as it has further to travel during the turn. The differential allows that tire to move faster. When it is lock in, the outside tire cannot mover faster like it needs to during the turn.
What causes a differential to lock up?
If left too long or if the fluid starts to run low, the differential will become noisy and can eventually fail. If that happens, the gears can seize, locking up the rear wheels and potentially causing a lot of damage or even an accident.

Where is the SGA located on a Cascadia truck?
In a left-hand drive vehicle, SGA monitors the area to the right of the vehicle and trailer using short range radar sensors. The radar sensors are mounted close to the rear of the right-hand footsteps.
What’s the maximum speed a Cascadia truck can go?
SGA warns the driver about stationary obstacles in the vehicle’s range of movement up to a maximum speed of 22 mph (35 km/h). If there is a risk of collision with a stationary obstacle when turning right, the red warning lamp in the A-pillar flashes for approximately two seconds and a warning tone also sounds.
When to switch off trailer monitoring on Cascadia?
It is not possible to switch SGA trailer monitoring on or off shortly after reversing or shortly after coupling up. When detection is restricted, SGA may issue a warning too late or not at all. The detection of obstacles can be impaired by the following situations:
