Are there any problems with the Peterbilt gauges?
I’ve been having problems with the Peterbilt in my sig. Some the gauges from time to time go crazy. :crazy: They go back and forth between zero to pegged out with the red idiot light in each gauge coming on when the gauge gets to red zone, and with the low air buzzer going off.
Why did the odometer quit on my 1998 Peterbilt?
1998 379 peterbilt speedometer and odometer quit. The transmission has one sensor on the tailshaft that I pulled out and cleaned up then reinstalled, nothing changed anyone know where to go next or how to test the sensor? Thanks for any help!! My driver just went in to Peterbilt in Springfield, MO with the same problem but it also affected his top trailer lights and some on the rear. It was one of the silver fuses and I think it was just loose a little. The service manager came out and bent the ends a little and that fixed the problem WITH NO CHARGE.
