The torque plate is the mount for the caliper – correct. Under Service Specifications it lists the Torque plate x Steering knuckle for 2WD as 47 ft.lbs. Why in the repair area it lists that spec. at 80 ft lbs and in the specifications area 47 I couldn’t tell you.
