I have a 2002 Toyota Camry LE with an automatic transmission. While the car is on ‘D’, or ‘Drive’, and I am pressing on the accelerator and trying to shift over 30mph, it feels as though the car is automatically reverting into neutral. I say this because you can clearly hear the engine revving up, but the car is not moving any faster.
It has a 4-cylinder engine with automatic transmission and 285,000 miles. It has fuel injection, P/S and A/C. I’ve been having an intermittent problem with the transmission shifting.
