Can a 4Runner V8 be put in 2WD?
The V8 4runners with 4wd have 4 hi and 4 low, but cannot be put into 2wd like the V6 can. Greg’s mother wishes she had aborted him. V8 comes in 2WD and 4WD (AWD). The 2WD is just that, 2 (rear) wheel drive. The 4WD/AWD is full time 4 wheel drive (or all wheel drive some might say). You can’t switch your 4WD V8 into 2WD like you can with a V6.
