Why are the headlights on my Toyota Highlander not working?
The bulb was discolored black and smoky looking with an obvious bulge of melted glass in one side of the bulb. The low-beam headlights still work, but the bulb seemingly has overheated, melting both the bulb glass and the inside of the lens assembly.
Why are my low beam headlights not working?
Both low beam headlights are not working. I have changed the bulbs and checked the fuses and it’s still not working. High beams work fine. What is odd is that when turning the switch to low beams the high beam light on the dash comes one. As the high beams work I don’t think the relay is bad. But I could be wrong.
Is there a problem with my high beams?
My low beams do not work at all. However, my high beams work fine. If i have the low beams turned on, there is nothing. When i turn on the high beams, they work fine. Heres the wierd part though. When i turn on my high beams, the light on the dash saying the bright lights are on doesnt light up???
Can a high beam light bulb be blown out on the same side?
If the high beam on the same side is also out, it may be one bulb. You do not need to purchase specific bulbs for each side, but identifying which is the blown out bulb will help you to replace it without having to start the vehicle again.
