Is there a clunk in the steering column?
The noise has abated after repair. Noise from steering wheel column when turning to the right. Klunking or snaping noise. Took for test ride .Still klunking.Replaced lower lower intermediate shaft.per service bulletin. These were approx service numbers. Noise is gone at the present time. ^^ That is an awesome post.

Click to expand… THAT specific clunk is usually the stopper crescent on the back of the spindles beating/grinding on the stop pegs. See the image where the shiny parts are and how the stoppers are all ground up. It’s designed to prevent too much deflection on the front end.
