What to do if your power steering has failed?
There are no hydraulic lines, no pump, and no fluid to deal with. That being said, if the assist motor has failed, you will likely end up removing the steering column to replace the motor, or replacing it as an assembly. Also, make sure the ground cable on top of the strut tower is connected, clean, and tight.
