Glowplugs on HDi only operate for 2/3 seconds (if that), 10+ seconds would be right for XUD or other idi engines. My peugeot 406 hdi 02 reg doesn’t start up. Problem started around xmas when temperatures fell. My Xantia HDi with 200k on the clock starts immediately on the key at temps below ยบ0C.

What kind of mileage does a Peugeot 307 get?
Car:- 307 1.6hdi, year 05. mileage 119,000. General behaviour good. APF light has come on several times but no limp mode. Ignored light and it always goes off after a few restarts. Average mpg 55.2 over 6200 miles. Boot normally full of my work tack ( 3 to 4 hundred weight ) Over 19,000 miles only problem had to replace battery.
